Today we decided to go to Sedona for a few days. The trip was uneventful. We went up route 89, Oak Creek Canyon route. The road is really curvey but very scenic. You wine up a mountain for several miles. After we arrived at Sedona, we drove around the town. There is a lot of road construction. It has been several years since we were there and the town has grown some. We went shopping and found a real nice shop that had tee -shirts and other items half price. The man that owned the shop was from Wisconsin and he said he has 50,000 acres there that he raised buffalo on. He had an unique walking sticks for sale. They were made out of buffalo penis. Wayne was going to get one but they were not very sturdy to walk with.

Today we decided to drive to the Grand Canyon. Has we were going we could see snow along the way. They had a snow storm a couple of weeks ago so it was almost melted. It was about 130 miles from Sedona. We went up the scenic route. When we got to the Canyon, we stopped in at the information building and because Wayne was a senior citizen we got in for ten dollars and he also got a lifetime membership to any federal park in the US, well maybe our luck is changing ha ha.

Our second day, we rented an four seat ATV and drove up some of the mountain trails. It was a cool day but it was fun. I think Kratos really had a great time because he got to run with us on
an ATV like at home. Here in Sedona ATV's are license so you can drive them on the road. Some of the pictures are of the red rocks of Sedona. It is amazing that only in this area you will find these beautiful red rocks, like bell rock. We had a great day riding the ATV on the trails
We were kinda cold and tired when we returned to our room for the evening but really had fun.

We drove the south rim of the Grand Canyon. It was in the upper 30's there. The snow had melted off the canyon that disappointed Wayne because he was hoping to see snow in the canyon. I did forget to tell everyone that we had Kratos with us, so he got to see the Grand Canyon too. There is a couple of pictures of him playing in the snow at a picnic area that we stopped at. Kratos loves the snow. We had a very nice time seeing the canyon.

Day four we went to a art fair in canyon creek shopping area. It was fun seeing the unique arts and crafts the people had for sale. We did some more shopping then for supper we found a great Italian restaurant. All in all we really had a nice four days. Sunday, we headed back to Gold Canyon to the motor home. We are enjoying our trip with the motor home.
